IMPORTANT CUSTOMER NOTICE ABOUT DRIVING LICENCE CHECKS
The following applies to all rental bookings commencing after 8th June 2015, for drivers who hold a UK mainland driver licence issued by the DVLA

As of Monday June 8th, the DVLA will stop issuing the paper counterpart part of the driver licence and those currently in circulation will no longer have any legal status and should be destroyed. For rental bookings starting on and after 8th June 2015, we will have to check your entitlements and endorsements using the DVLA "Share My Licence" service. For us to be able to do this, you must acquire a unique code from the gov.uk website and share this with us when you pick up your vehicle. We then use this code to validate your entitlements and endorsements

IMPORTANT, you can only access this service up to 3 days prior to the vehicle pick-up for the access code to be valid for us to check your details

Requirements For Self Drive Hire. 

• A full and valid driving licence 

• All drivers must be over 21  years of age and have been driving for at least 2 years.

• If the driver is under 25 years of age, the licence must not have any endorsements.

• Two forms of identification with the correct current address of the driver. These may be a Bank Statement, Utility Bill, Credit Card       Statement etc. Must be dated within 3 months of the hire date.

• We  require a holding fee for advanced bookings.

• All hirers must complete a Hire Agreement and accept our terms and conditions.
